Making is fundamental to what it means to be human. “We must make, create and express ourselves to feel whole” (Mark Hatch-The Maker Movement Manifesto).
In this class, students from K-5 will learn the Design Thinking Process and engage in STEM projects and challenges to learn how to use different materials and tools. They will have the chance to create solutions to common everyday problems for our community, making projects based on real-world applications related to what they are learning in science and social studies classes with their homeroom teachers.
